Brazil’s part-time coach Menezes

Ramon Menezes has been appointed as a part-time coach by the Brazilian Football Federation. This homegrown coach played a major role in winning the title of Brazil in the recently held Youth Copa America in Colombia.
Menezes’s career as a player is not so rich, but this Brazilian is quite experienced as a coach. Menezes also served as the coach of the famous Brazilian club Vasco da Gama
Brazil is not getting anyone high profile in the middle of the club football season. Therefore, CBF does not want to go on the path of appointing a permanent coach now. They will announce the name of the permanent coach of the Brazilian national team next June.
Brazil coach Tite resigned after failure in Qatar World Cup. The position of head coach remains vacant after his resignation. So the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) made many attempts to hire a new coach.
But before that, Brazil will play two friendly matches next March. Brazil announced the new coach for those two matches. That coach is Ramon Menezes, the coach who won Brazil U-20 team the title of South American Championship.

Brazil Football Federation president said, Ramon Menezes deserves a special salute. He is a very promising coach. We want a lot of people with new and bold ideas in the national team. He has helped our U-20 team play in a modern way with all our attributes.
It remains to be seen how much success Menezes can bring as the coach of Neymar and Richarlison after youth. 50-year-old Menezes played as an attacking midfielder in his football career. Born in Contagame, Brazil, Menezes has played six matches for the national team, scoring one goal.
In 2015, he started serving as the head coach after becoming Asev’s coach. Although he has no experience of working with any famous club in his eight-year coaching career, he has proved his ability in the Under-20 Copa America.
